Electrical Safety Report
The Electrical Safety Report informs about the condition of the electrical installation of your property. It is not mandatory, but since you are responsible for accidents that your electrical installation may cause, it is more than recommended.

With a positive Electrical Safety Report, you can have peace of mind about both your finances and your physical safety.
It is especially recommended if you want to rent out your house or if you have workers such as babysitters or any kind of domestic employee.
Although the electrical installation condition is more or less stable, you may want to check it regularly — for example, every five years, or at the time you decide to rent out the property or hire someone if it has been a while since the last check.
This test can result in three kinds of warnings: C1, C2, and C3. The first two are the most serious, and you will need to take action to solve their causes. C3 warnings point out recommended improvements.
The test should be conducted by an electrician with enough experience to do it.
The most common checks are as follows:
- Condition of earthing and bonding
- Exposed live wires that may cause injuries or fire
- Electrical equipment condition
However, a good professional will be able to spot other risks that you would not even imagine.
